Configure Microsoft Outlook 2011 (for Mac) with Fluccs Hosted Exchange

Fluccs Hosted Exchange works with Microsoft Outlook 2011 for Apple Macintosh.
This document outlines how to configure Microsoft Outlook 2011 with our Hosted Microsoft Exchange service.
Please note your circumstances may differ slightly due to software version, machine or internet service provider configuration, however the settings provided here will assist with successful configuration of your computer email software.

When configuring your email software or device, please consult the welcome pack instructions for server information, username, password, and specific settings. This information is provided as a generic guide alongside your specific setup information provided by our team.

Step 1: Start Microsoft Outlook and navigate to Add an Account.
Next, click on Exchange Account.
Setup Microsoft Outlook 2007 with Fluccs Hosted Exchange, Step 1: Start Microsoft Outlook and select the Tools menu, then Account Settings.
NOTE: If you are migrating from POP3 to Hosted Exchange, please retain your POP3 email accounts to ensure you don't miss any email message sent during changeover to our service. Select Add to begin adding a new email account type.
Step 2: Configure the Fluccs Hosted Exchange Account Information.
Enter your Exchange credentials in the format Exchange2007\Username (see your welcome pack for the details).
The server value is also in your welcome pack documentation.
Configure Microsoft Outlook 2007 with Fluccs Hosted Exchange, Step 2: Manually Configure Server Settings.
NOTE: Make sure you UNCHECK the 'Configure Automatically' checkbox as this service will be configured manually on your computer.
Step 3: Account Description Details.
Enter the details to describe your email account on Fluccs Hosted Exchange.
Setup Microsoft Outlook 2007 with Fluccs Hosted Exchange Server, Step 3: Enter the Server details and your username, then click on More Settings to configure how you will connect to the mail server.
NOTE: Remember the name and email address information you enter here will be the information displayed for email recipients which you communicate with.
Ensure you select 'User Name and Password' as the Method of authentication.
Outlook WebAccess - Remote Access to Email via Web Browser
When away from the office, do the following:
  1. Start Internet Explorer and use the WebAccess Credentials in your account pack.
  2. Logon with your mailbox Username and password.
Then, you will be taken to a view which looks exactly like your regular email software. 
This is Outlook Web Access. Send / receive / make changes as if you are in the office. 
You can also setup Out Of Office Assistant via Outlook WebAccess webmail interface. You can access your webmail from anywhere in the world, without the need to carry a computer or logon to a specific workstation.
That's it.
Now your emaill software should be configured and ready for use with our Hosted Microsoft Exchange service.
